New Zealand & Australia

Somebody has to make the call.

It is nobody's favourite job, so it slides. The invoice ages, the conversation gets harder, and eventually you write it off rather than pick up the phone. Hire a caller that does not mind.

Arohacalling Halcyon Property 00:41

ArohaKia ora, this is Aroha calling on behalf of Northbridge Joinery.

ArohaI am ringing about invoice 1055 for $3,460, which is 22 days past due.

CustomerAh. I thought accounts had done that one.

ArohaNothing has come through yet. Would you like me to text you the invoice again?

CustomerPlease do. It will go out Thursday.

First, the important bit

It is not a debt collector.

Nothing is bought, sold or assigned. There is no commission on what comes back. Nothing is escalated to an agency, and no credit rating is ever mentioned. It makes the call you would have made yourself, in your name, about your invoice.

That matters commercially as well as legally. A collector is paid on what they extract, so they push. A caller that costs the same either way has no reason to, and the customer you keep is usually worth more than the invoice you chased.

The job

What your caller actually does.

Reads the ledger

Your approved invoices in Xero or MYOB, filtered to the ones past the age you set. You see the list before it dials.

Rings in business hours

In the customer's own country, inside a window you choose. Never an evening, never a weekend, never a public holiday.

Says who it is, immediately

Its name, your business, the invoice, the amount, the age. No hedging and no pretending to be somebody's colleague.

Offers a way out

Text the invoice again, take a card payment through a secure link, or take a date the customer commits to.

Writes it down

What was said and what was promised, on the invoice itself, so the next person to look already knows.

Knows when to stop

A dispute, a hardship case or anything with an edge on it becomes a message for a person. It does not argue.

Meet your caller

Give it a name and listen.

Five questions. The call on the right rewrites itself as you answer, in the voice and the market you picked. Nothing is charged and nobody is rung.

Who is calling?

The agent gives its own name and your business name in the first sentence, so the customer knows who they are talking to before anything else.

Boundaries

What it will never do.

These are not settings you can turn on. They are how it is built.

Threaten

No legal action, no agencies, no credit ratings, no consequences. It asks, and it accepts the answer.

Ring twice

One call per invoice per cycle. There is no dial-until-they-answer mode.

Argue

A disputed invoice goes to a person the moment it is disputed.

Guess

Asked something outside your invoices, it says it does not know and passes it on.

Hear a card number

Payments happen through a link the customer opens themselves. Nothing is read aloud.

Edit your books

It notes calls. It does not change an amount, write anything off or reconcile.

Pricing

The same whether it works or not.

No percentage, no success fee. That is the point.

Monthly

NZ$129a month for three months, then NZ$199

200 minutes and 50 texts included. Extra minutes 10c, then 20c after the first three months. No setup fee, no lock-in.

Pay as you go

NZ$10a month, then NZ$1 a minute

For a ledger you only work through occasionally. NZ$10 free credit to start, texts 15c.

Australian businesses pay the same figures in Australian dollars. Something other than Xero or MYOB is custom work from NZ$499, quoted to the system.

Questions

Asked before signing up.

Is this a debt collector?

No. Nothing is bought, sold or assigned, there is no commission on what is recovered, and nothing is escalated. It makes the call you would have made yourself. If a debt genuinely needs collecting, that is a different service and a different decision.

Who does it say it is?

Your business. It gives the name you chose for it and your company name in the first sentence. It never claims to be a person and it never pretends the call is about something else.

What if they say they already paid?

It takes that as the answer, notes it and stops. It does not contradict a customer. If the payment genuinely has not arrived, that is for a person with the ledger open.

Can I hear it first?

Yes, and you should. Build one on this site and the example call rewrites itself from your answers. Before it rings anybody real you also approve the full script.

Does it work in Australia?

Yes. Australian businesses call out on +61 numbers held in Australia, New Zealand ones on +64 numbers held here, and the voices differ accordingly.

Name it. Hear it. Then decide.

A minute to build, and nothing happens until you say so.
